The Maverick Cookbook on Shortlist for Reading the West Book Awards

We are delighted to announce that The Maverick Cookbook has made the non-fiction shortlist for the 2015 Reading the West Book Awards sponsored by the Mountain & Plains Independent Booksellers Association.

Congratulations to author Lynn Cline, and the food photography duo, Guy Ambrosino and Kate Winslow of And We Ate.

Focusing on exceptional books and authors in the Mountains & Plains region, the Reading the West Book Awards recognize adult and children’s titles which exemplify the best in writing and/or illustrations whose subject matter is set in or invokes the spirit of the region. The states included in the region are Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.
